Run it Twice

«Run it Twice» (RiT) — is a functionality that gives the players a chance to run the hand twice. When two players go all-in and agree to run the hand twice, the streets remaining in the hand are dealt two times, creating two different boards. The winner of the first board receives half of the pot; the winner of the second board – the other half.

When two players, sitting on an appropriate Cash table, go allin before the River, they are asked whether to run the remaining street(s) twice.

Note: If more than two players go all-in, RiT is not triggered!

If both players agree to run the hand twice, a message informs the players that the hand will run twice. Then two sets of the remaining board cards are dealt, creating two different outcomes.

The pot is split in half. The first half goes to the winner of the first hand; the second half - to the winner of the second hand.

No additional rake is charged.

If one of the players disagrees to run the hand twice, or the timer expires before the player decides, the hand continues as usual (runs once).

The players can use the «Run it Twice» option in the client’s settings to specify how and when to use the feature. Upon selecting the option, the Run it Twice preferences popup appears, providing the following options:

  • Never – the player is not asked whether to run the hand twice; the client automatically declines the RIT request and runs the hand once. (This option is selected by default)
  • Always – the player is not asked whether to run the hand twice; the client automatically accepts the RIT requests.
  • By Hand – in each eligible situation, the player is asked whether to run the hand twice. The player can either accept or decline.

When a player who has set his/her RIT preferences to «Never» sits on an eligible RiT table, a popup informs the player about the availability of the feature. The popup contains a link leading to the client’s settings that allow the player to enable the functionality.

RiT is available for No Limit Hold’em cash games, including Speed poker. No additional rake is charged for RiT hands.
